You knew we would adore a story of Frodo taking care of an ill Pip! That is a sure-fired, irresistible plot line. And the little details you added that infused the story with such texture and affection - Pip laying against the pillows with his head thrown back, Frodo's worry, his plan to tempt his little cousin into eating. Lovely story.
