I think I might have exaggerated the aphrodisiacal effect just a tad :D My mom puts a recipe on her Christmas card every year (has done for about 35 years now) and oyster stew was the 2004 recipe. It got a very good reception from the oyster eaters among our family and friends, so I thought the hobbits might enjoy it, too!
