I love how Sam, once he knew that his Mr. Frodo would be leaving, started saving up his money to leave for the Gaffer and Mari. It's exactly the kind of thing that our practical and common sense thinking Sam would do for his Family.
Also what a wonderful thing to think up to attempt to keep Frodo's mind off of who would be living in his beloved Bag End from now on. Pefect *and* yummy to boot. :oD
Thanks for the wonderful story and the recipe that will be getting a try in about a month and a half. Had foot surgery a week and a bit ago and need to keep the cast on for another two weeks and then to ease into things. Once I've eased back into things though...Can't wait to give it a try. :oD
