I decided to make muffins for breakfast this morning from a recipe I downloaded off the Internet. Plain muffins. No nuts, berries, seeds, flavors, etc. Just plain. They turned out flat, hard and gummy. The recipe was way too easy and if I had paid more attention I would have noticed the absence of a critical ingredient - the leavening agent. If you download recipes from the Internet, be sure to check the ingredients! Simply adding a bit of baking powder and salt to my recipe would have prevented my muffin tragedy. I'm going to try again next weekend and if they turn out, I'll share the corrected recipe with all of you!

These days I tend to look at recipes as only a suggestion.
But thanks for the warning again....
