ext_28822: Alan Lee's Frodo sketch from ROTK (Chef)
[identity profile] sila-lumenn.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] shire_kitchen
I'm sitting here looking at six small boneless pork loin chops. Ordinarily I would brown them in a skillet then cover them with mushroom soup and simmer till tender and done. Today I'd like to try something different, but not too exotic.

Ideas anyone?

Thank you!!!

Modify your mushroom soup recipe by adding 1 can mushrooms with juice, half up white wine, and half cup parmesan cheese. Then bake as usual until tender.

You could use broth or just half cup of water to dilute the soup a little. Pity they don't make a non alcoholic cooking type wine just for the flavor effect.
