It comes in sticks?
Some recipes here need "a stick of butter" as an ingredient. Can someone please tell me how much a stick of butter weighs? (I couldn't find it on that "conversion site")

Date: 2004-05-27 08:05 am (UTC)And it is strange for me to see things measured in volume (like a cup of carrots I saw in a recipe). Basically we use volume (I don't now if this is the right word) for anything liquid and weight for anything solid (with some exceptions). But I'll get used to the US method too.
