I've decided that once it gets cool enough to consider using the oven I'd like to learn to bake bread. Can anyone out there recommend a good cookbook about bread? I'm really not interested in doing cakes, cookies, pies, tarts, or any other sort of baking - just seems too fiddly to me. But I would like a book all about bread. And on that note, I'll wander off to the kitchen to see what I can find for lunch.

Company's Coming has a book all about bread, actually. It has both great beginner receipes as well as more complex ones. And you can find it nearly anywhere, which is great.
