I am looking for a recipe for brownies. Can somebody give it to me, please?

6 oz. semisweet chocolate
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1/4 lb. butter (unsalted if you have it)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 cup sugar
pinch of salt (skip if butter is salted, or taste test)
1/2 cup flour

1. preheat oven to 350 degrees F. butter and flour an 8 inch square pan.
2. melt chocolate and add syrup, stirring well
3. take pan off heat and add butter, beat til smooth. Add vanilla and eggs and mix thoroughly
4. in a mixing bowl, sift the salt, sugar, and flour together, then add them all to the pan of chocolate stuff and blend thoroughly.
5. into the butter and floured baking pan with it and bake 30 min.
6. allow to cool, and then cut into small squares. (if you make them really small squares they last longer -- about 1 inch by 1 inch gives you 64 of them in this pattern!)

The recipe is from "the new basics cookbook"

Vanilla extract. Probably what you mean by vanilla flavour. A liquid, anyway.

It's hard to cut squares out of a circle, but think of all the little lovely edges to nibble on! lol!

Hooray! I wish I could taste them too. Maybe tomorrow, when it's not 90 degrees Fahrenheit...
